This game has A LOT of potential...BUT: the balance of the game is realy off.. you need to use almost an entire clip for killing 1 zombie..and you dont find much ammo for all those zombies.. and this is just on Normal difficulty wich btw. seems to be the lowest difficulty you have, another annoyance is the item screen the fact that you cant multiply same items in slots except ammo. having the same possiblilty for save disk and pills would be better... other than that its great game and great atmosphere... zombies are fast and that really gives the game an better feeling of scaryness... but for now i will probably shelf the game cause it bothers me that i run out of ammo so easy.... As a big fan of the (old and new) Resident Evil series I was eager to try this game out.And I would have to say this game does not dissapoint, it does what it is supposed to do. Survival horror that can even get pretty nasty on Normal difficulity. The graphics are okay, the story is passable and the controls work(even with keyboard I have no problems, though a controller is advised).About the only few negative things I can say about the game is that the fact that the enemies are bullet sponges, it takes ALOT of ammo to kill them and melee combat is simply too hard because you WILL get hit alot. Also, there are not that much puzzles in chapter 1 it's basically just find a code for a door. Although that seems to improve in chapter 2.I would recommend this game, but buy all DLC(otherwise it's a pretty short experience).. As a fan of the resident evil outbreak series I must take a big smelly poo poo on this game, playing an entire 20 minutes I feel as if I've done my duty sir, to be fair i will be refunding this because I cringed very hard, so much so that I feel as if you should be paying me to promote the game for having wasted my time on this pile of♥♥♥♥♥♥game.Also I am surprised capcom hasn't sued you for stealing and copying assets of the game because clearly a professional model ripper has taken some of these classic characters such as claire redfield and chris redfield and tony hawks.Also, epic animations btw and I shall be refunding in 3.. 2... 1 0 (i refunded now btw). Great stuff for what I've played...I've been waiting without hope for Capcom to see sense and give us real Resi for so long...I probably wouldn't have tried this game until now, but Capcom are not going to do anything with the Resident Evil series properly so I finally feel comfortable just going elsewhere for the same thing.Why am I talking about classic Resi so much? it's because this game nails it...it's only a slightly paler imitation of games of that calibur...it's good and I love the 'tank controls'...it's like coming home and I will buy all the 'episodes', something I don't do.Fantastic..
